Patricia Clarkson writes children’s fiction stories and screenplays, reflecting her ethnicity. Though she writes mostly picture and middle-grade chapter books, Patricia also writes Short Stories, Romance, Poetry, Memoirs, and Screenplays. Patricia’s writing journey began in early 2007 when her first children’s book was self-published in the UK.
Patricia later moved to Ireland, where she attended a writing workshop in 2017, resulting in her second self-published book. Her scripts have received numerous awards, including ‘Best First Time Screenwriting’, ‘Best Script’ and ‘Best African Screenplay’, to name a few. Patricia is an avid volunteer in her community, where she lives in Co. Leitrim, Ireland, with her family and a stray cat who moved in to stay.
